Clyde Preview

Another tough away game for Falkirk tomorrow as they make the short journey to Broadwood to face Clyde. The hosts just got promoted this year through the play offs but with the squad they already had and with the summer’s recruitment, they are promotion play off candidates this year. It should be an entertaining match with two attacking teams. It’s also the team that have scored the most goals this season against the team that have conceded the most. Although the have conceded the most, Clyde are a good team in the attack with veteran striker, David Goodwillie up front with Chris Johnston and Ally Love at either side. There are several former Bairns in the side too with David Mitchell, John Rankin and Kieran Duffy all in contention to start tomorrow. Clyde have had a disappointing start to the season with two defeats and one draw. They lost 3-1 to Airdieonians last week. David Goodwillie scored in the second minute to give them the lead but a strong second half performance have Airdrie the win. Falkirk had a hard fought 2-1 win over Montrose where the away side game them a tough game. It looks set to be an exciting game with Falkirk the favourites to win.
